Green Grows the Story
How can we use storytelling to help rebalance global climate change? What can young people and their families do to help make a difference that really matters for our future? Eth-Noh-Tec is launching its “Green Grows the Story”, combining storytelling and youth activism. Using ancient stories blended with modern anecdotes, Eth-Noh-Tec will reinspire our young people’s love for nature, encourage a wiser use of resources, and invite new ways of looking at individual responsibility and community participation to help shift global warming.
These performances of “green” stories drawn from mythologies and folk will be presented in dozens of schools in its first year, each audience engaging in a post performance about our endangered environment. In addition, each school that takes on the program is required to adopt an action-based project in the school to advocate for a greener culture amongst students, their families and beyond in their local communities.
In creating this project, we seek:
- Partners, resources, and connections who are in alignment with the goals of this project and the “greening” of our world.
- Storytelling and arts activities resources related to rebalancing global climate change.
- Contributions for the project.
